The school has a well earned reputation as a sporting school of excellence, placing very highly in all athletics competitions.
A strong basketball program is in place, with regular visits from the National Basketball League team Townsville Crocodiles Development Officer, who works in conjunction with the full time Physical Education Teacher.
The tennis court surface has been upgraded by the P&C and is very popular at morning tea and lunch times.
